2. Old Business
a. Closure of Naval Base Golf Course. The new Golf Practice and Learning facility opened on 16 April. Grand Opening will be scheduled in May or June.
b. Golf E-Mail Specials. The system is not yet operational. There is a lot of information on the server, and Mr. Higgins is not comfortable with the amount of information that is available. Looking at an annual membership, need an interface with the accounting software and POS server (this is a payable issue).
c. Methane Gas at Sea 'N Air Club House. An Emergency Work Request Chit was issued and the Maximo number W5MDJ shows the job is complete and a total of 285.0 hours was charged.
d. Sea 'N Air Course Realignment. Contractor began work on the realignment project 12 February 2007, estimated completion date is 22 August. Capt. Osborne indicated play was going well, he has not heard any complaints. The driving range work is moving forward. No work will begin until the course is complete. Planning a grand opening for the course once it is complete. The porta-potty service is doing well. The construction on the new restroom is going forward, should be complete when the redesign is finished. Question was raised will the cart paths be expanded?
e. Potable Water at Admiral Baker. Requests for Architectural and Engineering Qualifications were sent out 28 March. Those interested had until 12 April to reply. Designers will be ranked based on qualifications. The design fee will be negotiated with the top designer.
f. Broken windshields at Sea 'N Air. Trees have been planted and are helping with the problem, but will not resolve this problem until they have grown, which will take time.
g. 19th Hole Dining Services. The menu has been revised to reflect items that are popular with patrons; other items were deleted from the menu. The following questions were asked:
" Is the Champagne Brunch staying at the 19th Hole or is it going back to the Island Club? Golfers don't feel welcome on Sunday with the brunch set-up.
" Why has the 19th hole has been closing at 5 pm?
" Snack Shack only open from 1000-1400 - is this a service or only to make money?
" When will the folding wall at the 19th hole be put in? This was promised in the original design of the new clubhouse. Mr. Young will speak with the Dining Services Program Manager, Mr. Steve Hammel again.
3. New Business.
a. Prioritized Project Update. Project updates for the Sea 'N Air, Admiral Baker and Naval Station Golf Courses were distributed and discussed by Mr. Mike Magnani. (See enclosures (1) through (3)).
b. CNRSW MWR Golf Course Financial Performance.

c. Out of Bounds Stakes. Adm. Bepko indicated the stakes on #2 North at Admiral Baker are incorrectly placed. The out of bounds markers are inside the course boundary. Should be marked as a lateral hazard rather than out of bounds. Mr. Magnani indicated the out of bounds markers mark the course, not the property.
d. Five-somes during construction. LCDR Naranjo requested that five-somes be restricted during the construction at Sea 'N Air. Mr. Higgins will look at the number of five-somes and see if there is an impact. No complaints have been received so far regarding slow play. Five-somes require the use of three carts
e. Sea 'N Air Creek at #14. Capt. Osborne inquired as to the status of the creek cleanup at #14. Mr. Magnani indicated more soil samples have been taken and staff are waiting for the results. There is no plan to increase flow in the creek.
