Sign-up must be paid for before Saturday tee time.

This month's tournament is the Club Championship (see the Rules below). The first tee time is 07:31 (see the Pairings below). Changes may be expected. The pairings, tee times and rules at game time take precedence over these posted on the website. Please check-in at least forty-five minutes prior to your tee time.

The Club Championship will be played on two successive days -- Saturday and Sunday. The handicap, that will be applied, will be calculated from your Current Index (CI) that appears on the 15 September GHIN Index Report.

The tournament format is Individual Low NET/Low GROSS. There will be four first place prizes awarded: Individual Low GROSS (all ages), Individual Low NET (all ages), Individual Low GROSS (Seniors - 65 or over) and Individual Low NET (Super Seniors - 70 or over)

Anticipate three flights. Flights will be determined by your Current Index (CI) number.

The pairings for the first day will be in handicap order; with the low handicapped players going off early. The pairings for the second day will change. They will be based on the standings from Saturday and everyone will tee off at the same time with a shotgun start at 07:30. Pairings will be in low-Gross order with the lowest score foresome teeing off on the first tee. The rest of the field will follow backward from the 18th tee, then on the 17th and so on.

I will try to get the second day pairings posted Saturday night (23 Sep). Sunday's round is a shotgun start at 0730, everyone needs to show up early Sunday.

Rules

ELIGIBILITY: All current active Men's Club Members are eligible for the Club Championship Tournament providing you have a verifiable handicap.

TEAMS: There is no team play. You sign up and play as a single. The pairings for the first day will be in handicap order, with the low handicapped players going off early. The pairings for the second day will be based on your GROSS score from day one. The start for Sunday's round will be a shotgun at 07:30. Lowest GROSS players will start on the first hole, with next lowest foursomes located backward at the eighteenth hole and so on for the whole field.

HANDICAP: Each player will play to 100% of his handicap based on the 15 Sep Current Index. If you have an N/H assigned, the Tournament Committee will determine your Index trend and your Current Index based on your posted Index records.

FORMAT: The Club Championship Tournament is a two-day event. The format is Individual Low NET/GROSS total for the two days. There will be four first place prizes awarded: Individual Low GROSS (all ages), Individual Low NET (all ages), Individual Low GROSS (Seniors - 55 to 69) and Individual Low NET (Super Seniors - 70 or over).

SCORING:

• There will be two players listed on each scorecard.
• Exchange cards among the foursome.
• Do not score your own card.
• Record GROSS Score hole by hole.
• After eighteen holes subtract the player's handicap from his Total GROSS Score to determine the Total NET Score.
• On Sunday add the two day GROSS Scores and NET Scores. Lowest score wins.

TIES:
Ties for Low GROSS and Low NET will be decided by a card-off, using the Sunday NET Score, starting on #1 handicap hole, if no winner then #2 handicap hole, no winner then #3 handicap hole and will continue like this until a winner is decided.

SPECIAL:

• Due to this year’s hot, moist summer there are a number of bare spots on several fairways. If a player’s ball comes to rest in one of these spots, players may take relief in the fairway only.
• Practice Putt(s) / Shot(s) are prohibited during the round.
• "Closest to the Pin" will be awarded on the five par three holes. The payout shall be determined by the "buy-in."
• USGA rules supplemented by local rules apply.
• NO PRACTICE PUTTING.
• Post your own score as a tournament round.
