For the tournament tee markers will be on the stones, Matt will supervise pin placements. Matt will announce players at the first tee. Matt will trim branches on the 6th tee that could interfere with backswing.

Treasurer’s report was received. After paying bills and refunding multi club SCGA fees there is an adequate balance. First place prize of $100 for each of the flights in the club championship will be paid from the treasury.

Special Projects – No report

Weekday play – Duty assignment will be by signup for one week at a time. 2 members for each duty assignment. Sign up sheets for three months in advance for duty beginning in January. For October play there are new handicap ranges for the three groupings. There are numerous envelopes in the box with unclaimed prize money. Steve and Bill Scarborough will remove unclaimed money and envelopes, list by member name what money was taken. A copy of that list will be given to Matt so the pro shop can answer questions that may come up.

Tournament – 52 have signed up for the club championship. There will be no closest to the pin prizes.

Handicap – There will be an email with info on the new handicap system that begins in January.

SCGA Rep – Dave Schlesinger will attend the SCGA rules workshop. Will try to have SCGA rep for rules talk at the annual meeting. Lateral hazard marking on #15 will remain even during the time when there is no environmental hazard to the snowy plover.

Senior League – In 3rd place tie with Torrey Pines in the southern division. There are two matches left.

Entertainment – Monday November 16 is the annual meeting. 5:30 dinner at 6:15. A suggestion was made to have the drawing for weekday tee times at this meeting to encourage attendance.

Webmaster – An E-blast 3 weeks before the annual meeting will also include a reminder of renewal of membership/dues. SCGA won’t charge a late fee. Our decision to continue to charge a late fee will depend on whether our budget needs the revenue.
